At Skawa, we are dedicated to work on meaningful projects. We aren’t developing products for a rainy day – what we create is intended to be used with pleasure by many, and to make life better for everyone.
This is what we had in mind when we first developed Árminium and Jószaki; the former makes it easier for hundreds of thousands to buy a new home, the latter helps find professionals to renovate your home. Our crowdsourcing system Otthonrol.hu offers work-from-home opportunities over the Internet for people on parental leave or with disabilities. Initially we planned to have a few hundred remote workers only, but today the system has over 80,000 registered users.

We spend most of our lives working, so we appreciate making it meaningful, there’s a joy in creating something together and valuing each other’s company more than profits.

We spend most of our time in flow, and the rest in chill. If we had to pay for it, we'd still do the same :)

The Skawa philosophy

We started quite small, as a company of two. As we grew, we managed to preserve informality and harmony and make these two part of our corporate culture. We make conscious efforts to ensure that each newcomer is welcomed with the same friendliness and inclusiveness that we experience day by day.

Your work matters. Together we can make a difference and create great things. We create quality, which matters more than deadlines.

Creative, yet well-organized chaos is our natural environment, which constantly inspires all of us. Our solutions wouldn't exist if we used traditional methods; they all required a revolutionary, out-of-the-box approach. We work with ‘what if’ on our minds: whoever of us comes up with an idea, we will support it and help with its implementation.

We use the latest, state-of-the-art technologies; we love coding! We regularly organize Game Jam weekends, where we develop a well-defined and jointly conceived pet project together.
Students from universities or even secondary schools are warmly welcome. We regularly host Hungarian and foreign students as part of our summer internship program and the Erasmus scholarship program.

Summer internships
We regularly host university students for summer internship where they can learn about the operation of a startup workshop. During the internship, we provide training and constant support in their respective fields of interest, as well as independent tasks in our current projects.
